Description: The Black Poncho is comprised of a nylon resistant body to properly protect from occasional rainfall. This short sleeve poncho is reminiscent of a windbreaker body and features a five button snap closure on the neckline. The Profound name is embroidered with a patch in white across the chest. Thick rope draw cords can be used to adjust the shape and fit of the hood. This poncho is finished with an oversized back panel and a cropped upper for an asymmetrical formation. A front center pocket lies under the front flap while adjustable drawcords are within each sleeve to tighten or loosen. Hood has front cap attached serving conveniently as a rain barrier.

Inspiration: The poncho has origins spanning back to pre-Hispanic times, but have encountered drastic alterations over many years.  In the 1850’s, U.S. military forces began using ponchos constructed of rubber cloth when operating on the western plains. Our Poncho is a modern adaptation of this classic garment, ideal for navigating the concrete jungle during rainy days.  

Fabric and Fit: Lightweight nylon water-resistant body. Fits comfortably. Model is 6'2" and is wearing a L/XL.
